Ritchie Gonzales

I joined the Heatherwood Memory Care family in September of 2017 as the Assistant Administrator and had the privilege of becoming the Owner/Administrator in August of 2023. I am a certified RCFE administrator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and a major in Marketing Management. I have been involved in the healthcare business since 2001.

I began my journey in healthcare as a caregiver for a quadriplegic patient in Fremont, CA. During this time, my passion for caring for the elderly and disabled grew. I enjoyed being a team player working closely with doctors, physical therapist, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals while having a common goal of providing exceptional quality care.

Over the years, I established an extensive clientele specializing in spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease, and Dementia. In 2008, I started Tri Valley In Home Healthcare with the primary function of helping my clients find the right caregivers to fit their specific needs.

I strongly believe that the key to providing quality care for our patients is seamless management and organization. Being able to combine my experience as a hands-on caregiver and oversight in office management at the same time is what I love about my job.

I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to serve the residents, their families, and the staff of Heatherwood Memory Care.
